Patio Flip (still in progress)

.

before:
dirty, scuffed outdoor furniture, dead plants and all

Our back patio was definitely looking a little neglected and worn out.  Once winter comes along I basically huddle inside with 5 or 6 layers of clothes on, but since it has started warming up around here I have actually ventured outside.  So has J (with a very thick layer of spf 50 on).

I was out running errands with Joshua one day when I saw these 3 Adirondack chairs sitting by someone's trash.  I was going to pick them up but they were still there when we got back from running errands and the idea of FREE chairs was too good to pass up.  They needed some tlc for sure but with a coat of paint they were going to be awesome!

I wanted to do something bold and fun so I went to home depot and picked out some bright spray paint colors (Lagoon and Eden).  This brand of spray paint said that it stuck to plastic as well so it seemed pretty perfect for under 4 bucks

I used about a whole can on each chair so I spent about $12 in total.  But the transformation was totally worth it.  It definitely brightens up the patio and adds some functional seating too.

So much better!

Here's Sean and J enjoying the patio while I worked on spraying some more furniture.

Looking better already.  Don't mind that ugly hose container.....I've got plans for that too :)
